I have been lucky enough to see what a good relationship, and marriage, looks like.  My parents are ridiculously cute.  They are two separate people who love each other whole-heartedly and unconditionally, support each other, and make a great team. I think the law should recognize the strength and beauty of relationships like theirs, and the willingness of two people to commit to each other, without regard to gender or sexual orientation.
